She is a recognised allergy specialist in primary care and previously chaired the British Society of Allergy and Clinical Immunology in their primary care group from 2015 to 2018. She is now a trustee for the charity Anaphylaxis UK and chairs their Clinical and Scientific Panel.
Dr Helen Allergy has been asked to appear on the Jeremy Vine Extra Show, talking about allergy due to her specialist knowledge in food allergies. Dr Helen allergy talks about how food allergies may be prevented by the early introduction of some foods.
Dr Helen gives up her time to support adults and children with food allergies for free on her Facebook support group as she recognises how limited the allergy support is for these communities and how misunderstood the conditions often within primary care.
